Profile and Expertise

I'm a PhD candidate in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and a teacher at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University.  Previously I have e.g. worked at the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), and been involved in a project lead by The Equality Ombudsman.

Experience

Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University: PhD student & Teacher (March 2017 - present). Employed as a PhD student and teacher at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University. Teaching in different methodology courses on bachelor and master Level.

Mobile Life VINN Excellence Centre, Stockholm University: PhD student & Teacher (Aug 2013 - March 2017). Situated in the inspirational environment at the Mobile Life Centre during the first period of my PhD studies. Employed by the Dept. of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University and working there as a teacher (same as above). On parental leave between July 2014 and February 2015.

The National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå): Research Analyst (Sep 2011 – Aug 2013). At the dept. of statistical surveys. Responsible for the production and development of the Swedish national statistics on hate crimes. Author of two reports and a debate article on the subject (see list of publications). National contact person (NPC) for hate crime issues towards ODIHR (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights).

The Equality Ombudsman / TNS Sifo: Research Interviewer (Oct 2009- Aug 2009). Short project in parallel with master studies in sociology. Conducted 23 interviews for a project on experiences of discrimination. It addressed all forms of discrimination covered by the Swedish Discrimination Act (i.e. sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation, age). Resulted in a report (see list of publications).

Teaching

I have been involved in the following courses at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (Stockholm University) with various roles and responsibilities (e.g. course responsible, lecturers, supervisor). I have also been engaged as a thesis supervisor.
